By the number of trucks and equipment in my neighborhood, it would appear that a fairly major scene for "Law and Order: SVU" is being filmed on E 104th St. They've been in the neighborhood for most of the day and are doing some indoor and outdoor shots at the "Center for the Study of Santeria". A film crew was in the neighborhood last week as well doing a shot which involved several dozen people running down the steep hill on Lexington as I happened to be stepping out of 103rd Street Station. I would assume that the two are related but I can't say for sure.
