manyhighways.com has three parts:

WORDS (rss 1.0, 2.0) are written about books and travel, amongst other more boring things. It was launched in the summer of 2004 before the start of an 8,000 mile train trip around America which you can read about here.

PHOTOS (rss 1.0, 2.0) from Minnesota and New York City, especially street scenes, bridges, and the subway. Navigate the entries by clicking a thumbnail on the front page, then use the "prev" and "next" links on the top navigation bar. The photoblog was started in the fall of 2003 and was powered by Blogger until December of 2004 when the current design was implemented.

GALLERY (rss 2.0) contains groups of miscellaneous images from various places. New galleries are always announced.

The author of manyhighways.com prefers to remain anonymous but he will acknowledge that he is in his 20's, lived in New York City from 2003-20007, and now lives in St. Paul, MN.

The site is hosted by Dreamhost and the site is powered by MovableType.
